About Sade and The Golden Shoe

Sade and The Golden Shoe is a new Nigerian folktale. Sade, (pronounced Shaw-day) a small girl is the heroine of this unique tale.  She along with her best friend, the village mosquito, saves her village from the curse of a golden shoe found by her father in a nearby magic lake. The story uses the influences of traditional West African storytelling, along with customary cadences. The story is similar to the famed Aesop’s fables and includes a moral that uses animals as significant figures to relate the message of the story.

The book is quickly becoming a favorite of both children and adults.

The book comes in several formats including hard cover, soft cover, ebook, Braille and a Read and Play audio book.

Sade and The Golden Shoe can be purchased on Amazon.com, Xlibris and Google Books.
